Biography: Hannah was the wife of John Tomlinson of Liverpool. Hannah was moved from Lancaster Castle to Preston’s House of Correction on the 20th January 1818 as demolition work was beginning on the dungeon tower where female convicts awaiting transportation were kept at Lancaster. Hannah was given a free pardon whilst at Preston in late 1819.
