Biography: Jennet was a single woman of Manchester. She had previously been imprisoned for theft. Jennet had stolen a shirt, cap, shawl and gown.
Jennet gained her freedom in 1804 and was recorded in 1805 as living with Patrick P(r)endergast (ship- Britannia- earlier voyage), an Irish rebel. However, the following year, Jennet died at Sydney in late March 1806, recorded as Jane Simple, aged 36 and was buried at the Old Sydney Burial Ground.
