Biography: Ann, a widow from Manchester, had stolen from a Thomas Turner and after being held over from the previous October sessions. She was sentenced at this sessions and after being at Lancaster was sent to Preston House Of Correction on 6th April 1818 as the dungeon tower at Lancaster, where female felons were housed was being demolished. From Preston, Ann was given a free pardon on 16th April 1821.
