Biography: Ann was a widow from Liverpool. She was described as having had 12 children, three of whom were in the workhouse (out of only four surviving). She had been born in Petworth, West Sussex. Ann had a sallow complexion and was 5ft 3 with a mole on her chin, grey eyes, brown hair and had a scar on the inside of her left lower arm. She worked as a travelling pedlar. Ann had received stolen property belonging to Thomas Clonney, taken by a Robert Jones.
Ann was sent to Millbank jail in London in October 1820, where she was described as being ‘a bad character’. Still, she was pardoned and discharged on the 19th September 1823.
