Biography: Esther was a single woman from Manchester who had stolen printed cotton along with Mary Biddle and Mary Shepley. Whilst at Lancaster Castle, the order came from the home secretary in October that she and the other 12 women who were sailing were to be clothed and sent to Gravesend for boarding.
I have not been able to find any further records for Esther, suggesting she may have been either one of the eight women who died onboard from dysentery or very shortly after arrival.
