Biography: Betty, a widow from Manchester, had stolen a pocketbook containing bank notes from a John Bulmer at Manchester. She had already been convicted the year previous.

Betty was recorded as being in the female factory in 1814. In 1816, Betty is noted as the wife of (John? Miller/Mullen) but in 1817 as a widow with a ticket of leave. In 1818 she is a housekeeper at Sydney. She was recorded as married on 1819/20/21 census but without any names given and what were possibly common law relationships rather than legal marriages, it has not been possible to follow her further.
