Biography: Mary had been born in Warrings Point (Warrenpoint), Newry, Northern Ireland. She was described as being a servant, 5ft tall, with a fresh complexion, grey eyes, auburn hair, was rather broad set and had a large brown mole on the outside of her lower right arm. She said she had not been in Ireland since she was a child. Mary was sent to Millbank jail in London where she was noted as being ‘of bad character’. Despite this, she was pardoned and discharged on the 9th December 1823.
