Biography: Elizabeth stole a watch at Manchester. Described in jail, she was described as being born at Manchester and had a sallow complexion with grey eyes and brown hair. The little finger on her right hand was crooked. She was a cotton worker and unmarried.
In June 1825, Elizabeth was jailed for a week on bread and water for being found drunk and absent from service- she was sent to the Georgetown female factory. In February 1826, she married Thomas Caines (ship- Medway ) at Launceston (though they both lived at Georgetown). Now free by servitude, Elizabeth was four times fined for being drunk and disorderly in the streets in 1830 and 31. After this time it is not clear what happens to Elizabeth.
