Biography: Peggy stole 10 yards of lace from Michael Milligan at Wigan. She was still in castle August 1804 but in February 1805 was transferred to Preston’s House of Correction along with Ann Barlow, Margaret Edwards and Margaret Jones. They all received pardons and were freed after soon after.
