Biography: Margaret was a widow from Manchester and had stolen a pair of shoes from S. Ridgway and had already served two past sentences. She was described as “a helpless old woman” by the ship’s surgeon after the voyage.
She died in October 1821 and was buried, aged 45 at St John’s Cemetery, Parramatta.
