Biography: Ann had a death sentence reprieved; she had stolen £44 from the house of John Garner at Liverpool. She was in trouble in jail for not standing up during the hymns in chapel. In April 1818 Ann was transferred to Preston’s House Of Correction and was given a free pardon in November 1820.
