Biography: Sarah was charged along with husband William and another man, James Charlson with having two forged £1 bank notes at Warrington with the intent to defraud Thomas Taylor and James Hutton.

Despite pleading guilty at their trial, Sarah and her husband were both pardoned and freed the following year, 16th June 1809.
