Biography: Elizabeth stole five silver teaspoons from Captain De Frank at Hulme, Manchester by whom she was probably employed as a servant.
In New South Wales, Elizabeth was sent to work at Mr James Larra’s in Parramatta where she had a baby with another recently arrived convict, James Wells (ship- General Hewitt) who was then sent off to Newcastle prison colony and Elizabeth almost certainly lost her job. She died soon after having the baby boy, James in December 1815 and he died the following year in April. Both were buried in the Old Sydney Burial Ground.
