Biography: Hannah stole two pieces of printed cotton from a shop at Wigan belonging to David McClure along with Ann Allen, Mary Dolan and Isabella Vickers. They each had death sentences reprieved.

She received her first ticket of leave in 1811 at Windsor and received permission to marry fellow Lancastrian John Wych (ship- Duke of Portland) at Windsor in 1815. This permission was repeated at Parramatta in 1820 and again in 1822 back at Windsor when they finally tied the knot at St John’s Parramatta in July that year. The same year she was also listed on the muster as being part of ‘Cummins’ Road Party’ at Liverpool.

By 1825, Hannah was ‘wife’ of Thomas Arlington (ship- Ann). In 1835 permission was granted for her to officially marry Thomas and by 1840 she was living at Penrith. Hannah died 26th June 1860, aged around 83 at the lunatic asylum recorded as ‘an invalid’ and was buried at All Saint’s Cemetery, Parramatta.
