Biography: Catherine was a single woman, born in Liverpool and was a servant. She was described as having a fair complexion, was 5ft 1 1/2 tall with hazel/brown eyes, dark brown hair and long fingers. She had stolen from John Spencer and others along with Jane Jones, Ann Wright and Ann’s husband Thomas. All three were sentenced to transportation, although Jane was the only one of the three women who was. Catherine was sent to Millbank jail in London where she was described as being of good character. She was pardoned and discharged from Millbank 29th April 1824.
