Biography: Mary was a single woman of Manchester who had stolen clothing at Heaton Norris.

Mary married William Foster in 1807 at St Philips, Sydney and after, they had a child, Richard. Mary received her certificate of freedom in February 1811. On February 6th 1816, Mary gave birth to a daughter and died during or very shortly after the birth and was buried on the 8 Feb. Her daughter, named Mary was baptised just 3 days after and died 6 weeks later and both were buried in the Old Sydney Burial Ground.
