Biography: Mary was born in Newry, Ireland and lived in Liverpool. She had paid and put off to Thomas Pennington a forged £1 note alongside Isabella Hammill and her husband Hugh, Margaret Kelly and Mary Pimblott. In her jail description, she had a sallow complexion, dark brown hair, grey eyes and had four yellow marks near her eyelids (probably xanthelasma). She had had 12 children. Her husband was at Liverpool. Mary was sent to Millbank Penitentiary on the 30/11/1821. At Millbank she was further recorded as having only four children (perhaps only four were still living, or were dependent/young?) and she was 5 foot 1 inches tall. Mary was pardoned and discharged from Millbank on the 1st May 1824.
