Biography: Elizabeth stole two cloth caps at Manchester. In late December 1805, along with a small group of female prisoners, Elizabeth was taken from Lancaster Castle to Long Reach, Gravesend to board the ship.
Elizabeth began a long term relationship with Joseph Bridges in the colony, having seven children together between 1808 and 1819. In 1811 they were joint witnesses to the marriage of Elizabeth Mitchell and her husband. In 1825 they were sentenced to seven further years transport to Moreton Bay penal colony for theft and receiving of linen, Joseph died there in 1829. Elizabeth, who ended up staying in NSW, was released from Sydney Jail in Dec 1825. in 1828 one or maybe more of her younger boys were in orphanages.
She moved to Wollombi with her sons and married William Meadows in 1844. She died in 1872.
