Biography: Elizabeth was charged with uttering a forged £1 note to Robert Burrow (possibly a shoemaker) of Lancaster. She died in jail 22/11/1811 and is buried in Lancaster Priory. There is some confusion over age- the calendar of prisoners lists her as 50 in 1809, but her burial record says age 65 in 1811.
