Biography: Margaret had stolen from John MacIntyre. She was a single woman of Liverpool.

She was assigned to work for settler Elias Bishop at the Hawkesbury River area and worked as a cook. She married free convict (soldier/deserter) John Miller (ship- Friendship) in the Richmond area in January 1815. They had a child, Ann around 1820 but perhaps the marriage was unsuccessful as Margaret by 1818 was marked as single after this point and in 1820 was in service to a Mrs Full(?). After 1821 (‘single-Sydney’ and now free) there seems to be no further records of Margaret.

In 1828, 8 year old Ann can be seen living with her father John as a houseservant at Bathurst.
