From Morecambe Bay to Botany Bay- The Database (In Progress)

This database holds information on all the known women who were transported as convicts to Australia after being sentenced or held at Lancaster Castle. As new data is found, the database will be updated.

It also includes the women who were given a sentence of transportation but remained in England.

You can search for each woman by surname, year of conviction or the ship they sailed on.
